The purpose of these guides is to support Board members and other organisational leaders to take a systematic approach and implement practical leadership interventions that can lead to transformational quality improvement.


NICE Guides

NICE commissioning guides provide support for the local implementation of NICE clinical guidelines and are  resources to help health professionals in England to commission an effective service for the diagnosis and initial management of acute stroke, Transient Ischaemic Attack and Anticoagulation therapy services.

They should be read in conjunction with the following NICE guidance:

Stroke Audit

NICE Audit support is developed to support the implementation of NICE guidance. The aim is to help NHS organisations with a baseline assessment and to assist with the audit process, thereby helping to ensure that practice is in line with the NICE recommendations. The audit support is based on the key recommendations of the guidance and includes criteria and data collection tools.
