Evidence-Based Review of Stroke Rehabilitation 

The Evidence-Based Review of Stroke Rehabilitation (EBRSR) is the most comprehensive and up-to-date review available examining both therapy-based and pharmacological interventions associated with stroke rehabilitation.


Public Health Wales Observatory

The Public Health Wales Observatory aims to provide useful public health information to improve health and health services in Wales, and reduce health inequities. A key aspect of our work is assisting users to help themselves by providing signposting to key resources for evidence.

Scottish Public Health Obervatory  

Scottish Public Health Obervatory’s purpose is to describe the pattern of health across the Scottish population. As a supplementary service to users its website  includes  links to external sources of quality-assured evidence on effectiveness of interventions.

The Centre for Reviews and Dissemination is an international centre of excellence in evidence synthesis delivering high-quality research evidence and promoting the use of research evidence in health policy and practice.

The aim of the Stroke Research Network is to facilitate stroke research by bringing about focused, effective investment to enhance NHS research infrastructure for stroke, and to increase collaborative working between academics, stroke clinicians, stroke service users and research funders.

The World Health Organization's (WHO) Health Evidence Network gatheris best expertise from key partners in national and international institutions, and analyses data and the research results to propose evidence-based public health interventions.

Key objectives of the European Stroke Association (ESO) include the development of public policies to reduce the number of stroke-associated deaths and the reduction of the global burden caused by stroke throughout Europe.
