Phil Sharman

For the past 12 years Phil was a District Auditor with the Audit Commission and brings extensive public audit expertise from health and local government sectors.  Prior to that he was Chief Internal Auditor with the NHS in Scotland and previously gained professional practice with Coopers & Lybrand.

 

Phil also has significant international experience as an Audit Director in New Zealand and as Auditor General in St Helena and the Turks & Caicos Islands.  He is a qualified member of both CIPFA and the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants.  Phil was born in Suffolk, is married, and has two kids studying at university.
