Public Health Wales continues to urge MMR vaccination for children and young people aged between 10 and 18 as the measles outbreak centred on the Swansea area continues to grow.

 

Around 4,000 children and young people aged between 10 and 18 have received the MMR vaccine in the Swansea area in the past month – but measles cases continue to rise and have now reached 1,011.

Health Minister Mark Drakeford AM has announced a £4.805m investment in a new Combined Services Centre at Morriston Hospital, Swansea.
