As an elected member I am well aware of the challenging times ahead both for the statutory services and the Communities of which we serve. More than ever, there is a vital role for all partners from the statutory, health and voluntary Services to work together to ensure that the needs of the residents in our communities are addressed.  It is only by communicating together that these needs can be realised. I look forward in my new role at Board level to undertaking this vital activity in making a difference to the health and well being of our communities.”

I am really looking forward to this challenging role. I have always empathised strongly with communities across North Wales and I‘m passionate about improving the quality of care. The ever increasing demands for healthcare in a difficult economic climate suggest that the NHS agenda has never been tougher. But I’ve always thrived on new challenges and I’m delighted to have been given this opportunity to make a difference.
