ANEURIN BEVAN LOCAL HEALTH BOARD
CHARITABLE FUND AND OTHER RELATED CHARITIES
Registered Charity Number 1098728
We are continually overwhelmed by the generosity of our patients, relatives, staff and members of the public who devote their time and effort to donating or fundraising for our hospitals.
Your efforts, support and donations however big or small make a huge difference.
Aneurin Bevan Health Board is grateful to receive donations which help to improve the hospital environment, provide additional benefits for the care and treatment of patients including the purchase of medical equipment and support continuing education for staff.
Our Charity seeks to enhance the services provided by the Board and fund additional items of expenditure, which would not otherwise be funded by the NHS. We are committed to ensuring that the decision of how funds are used is at the discretion of the medical and nursing staff.
Within our Charity the majority of the wards and departments have their own funds which allow people to donate in appreciation of care received, in memory of loved ones or for a particular cause that is close to their hearts.
We are often contacted by people who are undecided as to which fund to donate to and in order to assist in this please refer to the list of hospitals and available funds. Some of our busiest departments such as Accident and Emergency and Outpatients which have a large throughput of patients are often overlooked and do not attract many donations.
