The ward area is called Trefynwy Suite and is on the first floor.

From the 8th April, visiting hours are from 

3:00pm - 5:00pm and again from 6:30pm - 7:30pm every day.

This centre is the first of its kind in Wales, and provides services previously based at Monmouth Hospital, Overmonnow Day Hospital, Dixton Road Clinic, Social Care and Community Nursing Teams and Day Services. It was developed in partnership with Monmouthshire County Council, local Voluntary Organisations, Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust and Monmouthshire Local Health Board.

The Facility was opened on July 20th 2006 by Dr Brian Gibbons, Minister for Health and Social Services.

What Services are available in Monnow Vale?

Monnow Vale is the centre for many services for people who live in Monmouth, Raglan, Usk and outlying areas. Although people from other areas can also access the services.

 

 
 
 
 

Out of Hours GP Service can be contacted on 0845 600 1231.

Out of Hours Social Services are available on: 0800 328 4432.

 

The Monnow Vale Health and Social Care Centre have now taken over responsibility of the running of Community Health Services in the locality.  Monmouth Hospital and Drybridge House are no longer in use.  For any enquiries about healthcare, please contact the above number.
