Wards closed to visitors

The following wards are closed to general visitors because of diarrhoea and vomiting:

Glanrhyd Hospital:
Gorseinon Hospital:
Maesteg Hospital:
Morriston Hospital:


Neath Port Talbot Hospital:

Princess of Wales Hospital:


Singleton Hospital:

Tonna Hospital:

Ystradgynlais Hospital:


Note: All visiting, except in exceptional circumstance, has been temporarily stopped on the wards outlined above. Exceptional circumstances include parents visiting children, or close relatives visiting patients who are at their end of their life. In cases like these, please contact the ward in advance to arrange visiting. 

However, if you have diarrohea or vomiting, or flu sumptoms, or had had them within the last few days we ask you to refrain from visiting as the infection could be passed on to others.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your cooperation and support.
