Designed to help you choose where to have your baby
Having a baby is a wonderful time in your life, and we want to make it easy for you to choose where to give birth.
We have launched a new * Choices English & Welsh leaflet, which outlines the options available to you in the ABM area.
In addition to the leaflet, we've also prepared a selection of video virtual tours of the labour wards and midwife-led birth centres in Singleton, Neath Port Talbot and the Princess of Wales hospitals. (see below)
There are also video interviews with a group of mums who had home births, and two community midwives explaining their role helping women to deliver their babies at home. Also, mums talk about breastfeeding their babies.
We hope the leaflet and videos will help to inform you, and make it easier for you, your partner and family to look at all the options with you.
Please take all the time you need to consider your choices, and we wish you all the best for the birth of your baby.
