A charity golf day organised by a patient has raised £3,100 for the Breast Care Unit at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
Sarah Hubbard, and her husband Tim, chose to support the unit as thank you to staff for the care they have given her.

Sarah explained:
“My husband and his friends organise a charity golf event in memory of my late father-in-law, Robert Hubbard, every year.
“When we were asked to choose the charity to support this year, we quickly decided on the Breast Care Unit at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
“I received fantastic help and support from the Breast Care Nurses and Consultants throughout my diagnosis and treatment. It is great to be able to give something back to help other breast cancer sufferers."
Richard Johnson, Consultant Breast Surgeon, took part in the day with his three sons:
“It was a very enjoyable afternoon. We had the best of the weather, but not of the golf; we didn’t trouble the scorers!
“We are very grateful to receive such a large and generous donation to the Breast Care Fund. We will be using the money to continually improve the care that we provide to our patients.”
