Pembrokeshire CHC New Members Appointed

The appointment of three Community Health Council (CHC) Members for Pembrokeshire has been announced announced by the Minister for Health and Social Services, Jane Hutt.
The appointments are:

Mr Garth Hicks lives in Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire. He has recently retired from Ceredigion County Council where he was a Group Manager in Design & Strategy. Mr Hicks also has 22 years of experience in the voluntary sector where he has served as a special constable.

Mrs Christine Roberts lives in Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. She is retired after spending 35 years working within the NHS and has a wide knowledge in this area. She also has experience in the voluntary sector where she has served as a member of MIND in Barnet.

Mrs Constance Stephens lives in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire. She is a former school teacher and careers officer. She also has voluntary experience as a member of the PTA with her local secondary school and has also recently successfully applied to become a J.P.

Note:

Community Health Council members do not receive a remuneration. The appointments have been made until 31 March 2008.
