Health Improvement Review Terms of Reference published

Following the announcement of the review into the national health improvement programmes in Wales, the Minister for Health and Social Services has formally approved the Terms of Reference for the review.
The purpose of the review is to fully consider the future direction for health improvement and health improvement programmes in Wales, ensuring sustainability, value for money and the delivery of priority outcomes across Wales, consistent with national policy.
 
The review will make recommendations regarding options for:
 
  • The future direction of health improvement
  • The most effective means of delivering health improvement programmes to achieve the most sustainable outcomes
  • Opportunities to strengthen the holistic delivery of health improvement
  • The role of Public Health Wales and other contributors in delivering health improvement.
 
The review will now begin and web pages to support the review and engagement activities are now being finalised and will be available shortly.
