Can't make your hospital appointment?

Don’t be a no-show

If you cannot keep your hospital appointment, please contact us so that your slot can be used for another patient.

Please call as soon as possible the clinic appointment clerk at the hospital on the telephone number provided in your appointment letter or contact us by email as follows:
Anglesey and Gwynedd:            bcu.west.appointments@wales.nhs.uk
Conwy and Denbighshire:          BookingClerks.1.Patient@wales.nhs.uk
Wrexham and Flintshire:            bcu.east.appointments@wales.nhs.uk
Each outpatient appointment costs the Health Board up to £150.00.  If you miss an appointment and don’t tell us in advance, we can’t re-use this money and patients have to wait longer for an appointment.
You may wait longer or be referred back to your GP if you fail to let us know.
Your appointment is your responsibility!

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board has launched a new reminder service which aims to reduce the number of missed outpatient appointment.
Approximately 50,000 people miss their hospital appointment every year and each missed appointment costs the Health Board money in terms of time the medical staff waste, but more importantly, it means that the slot cannot be offered to another patient which will increase waiting times for ALL patients.
