Publications1000 Lives Plus has produced several publications to assist organisations and individuals seeking to improve: The Quality Improvement Guide (published, 2011)Brings together learning from around Wales – and further afield - to explain how a simple set of techniques can be applied to improve the quality of services. PDF version Includes: Change methodology. Measurement, Leadership, Teamwork,Communications Improving Healthcare White Papers These White Papers have been produced to address major issues in the ongoing healthcare improvement work as they arise. They bring together innovative approaches, real-life experiences and top thought-leaders to provide concise summaries of key points in the improvement agenda. Including input from Professor Don Berwick, Sir Ian Carruthers and Mr Gerry Marr Including input from Professor John Seddon, author of Systems Thinking in the Public Sector A study of the NHS in Scotland, England and Wales looking at how well each servcie reflects the ideals of the founder of the NHS, Aneurin Bevan An introduction to the approach that Jonkoping County Council has taken in its delivery of healthcare. It also explores what can be learnt and applied to Welsh healthcare. These publications by 1000 Lives Plus reflect the latest developments and better practice in NHS Wales. The learning can be adopted and adapted in any organisation and enable frontline teams to offer better care to patients.
