Appointments

Appointments to attend the surgeries can be made by telephone or by calling in during normal opening hours.  Appointments will usually be made within 24 hours for you to see or speak to an appropriate healthcare professional.  If you require an appointment with a specific GP you may have to wait a little longer.

We offer urgent appointments, however, we will ask for more information and may advise you to

call 999 or attend the nearest Accident & Emergency Unit.

APPOINTMENT BOOKINGS

EMERGENCY/URGENT WITHIN 48 HOURS.

ROUTINE WITHIN 2 WEEKS.

DOCTOR OF CHOICE WITHWIN 4 WEEKS.

We offer a number of 'same day' appointments FOR EMERGENCY/URGENT CASES AND THESE ARE RESERVED TO ENSURE THE APPROPRIATE ACCESS TO MEDICAL CARE ALIGNED TO THE PATIENTS MEDICAL CONDTION.  Moreover, we also allow pre booking of appointments, usually up to 4 months ahead.

WHEN ATTENDING THE PRACTICE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT IF THERE IS A DELAY OR THE DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE IS NOT ON TIME THIS SHOULD BE COMMUNICATED TO YOU BY A MEMBER OF OUR RECEPTION TEAM.  HOWEVER, IF THERE IS AN OVERSIGHT, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO APPROACH THE RECEPTION FOR AN UPDATE AFTER 20 MINUTES.

 

The Primary Health Care Team at both surgeries (St David's Court & Salisbury Road) request that you arrive promptly for your appointment or as advised for the 'open access'.  If you are late for your appointment you may have to rebook for another day.  if you find that you no longer require an appointment you have booked, please advise us as soon as possible so that we can make it available for another patient.
