NISCHR CRC believe that appropriate training has the power to transform working practice and enable researchers working across a wide variety of settings and specialties to learn from each other to develop high quality research practice.

We provide a high quality Wales-wide training programme to support excellence in studies registered on the NISCHR Clinical Research Portfolio.

What does the NISCHR CRC training programme cover?

Our free and high quality training programme is delivered annually across Wales by a range of expert trainers. The training programme has developed to meet the needs of the NISCHR CRC workforce and the research community we are supporting.

It is driven by research competencies and prioritises:

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

• informed consent

• communication skills

• core research skills

Who can access the NISCHR CRC training programme?

Researchers, health and social care professionals, research administrators, patients, carers and service users involved in the development and delivery of research studies on the NISCHR Clinical Research Portfolio are eligible to access our training.
