Approaching from motorway (M56) to the A55 – the M56 terminates at a roundabout which joins with the A5117.  Follow the signposts for Queensferry & North Wales.  The road numbers change over the next 5-6 miles through A550 and A494 until, at the top of a hill outside Queensferry, the A55 merges in on the left.  Signposts towards Conwy should now be followed.

Approaching from Oswestry A5/A483 Roundabout to the A55 – close to Oswestry, the A5 (leading from the M54) and the A483 (from Newtown) meet at a roundabout and continue as the A5 to a further roundabout near Chirk.  From here, take the A483 Chirk by-pass and head north towards Chester to a major roundabout junction before joining the A55, signposted for Conwy.

Approaching from Bangor direction to A55 - follow the A55, signposted for Conwy.

From the A55 to the Hospital and Treatment Centre (in all directions) – remain on the A55. The hospital is signposted.  A brown Tourist Board sign for ‘Bodelwyddan Castle’ forms an additional landmark. Once you reach the hospital, continue past the main site entrance (over the roundabout) and take the first turning on your left to the Cancer Treatment Centre.
