Child immunisations

The surgery offers a comprehensive child health programme lead by our team of health visitors. An immunisation clinic is run once per week and all children are seen for their routine developmental check by one of the doctors.

 

A large amount of information about your child’s health is available on the Internet. We would recommend the following websites: 

NHS Direct - a source of health advise where you can search for information according to your child’s symptoms

 

NHS Live Well - search for information according to your child’s age (0-1,1-5, or 5-15)

 

Children First - an excellent website run by the world famous Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital 

 

Immunisation.nhs.uk - a large amount of clear information about all of the currently recommended vaccinations including the new HPV vaccine and a section on the MMR jab.
