RCOG World Congress 2014 in Hyderabad, IndiaWednesday, 15 May 2013
Start: 28/03/2014 - 09:00 End: 30/03/2014 - 18:00
In partnership with the RCOG All India Co-ordinating Committee (AICC), it is my pleasure to invite you to the RCOG World Congress 2014, to be held 28 – 30 March 2014, Hyderabad, India.
We look forward to hosting you at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). A new, purpose built congress centre and winner of the ‘Best Convention Centre’ National Tourism Award by Incredible India for three years in a row.
HICC features state-of-the-art IT infrastructure, design, technology, telecommunications, AV equipment and 5-star banqueting service. The pillar-free conference and exhibition halls with 12.5 metre high ceilings will make it a superb venue for conference delegates and exhibitors alike.
Hyderabad is an exciting, fast growing city in the heart of India. With a population of 7.7 million it is India’s fourth largest city. The rich tapestry of linguistic and cultural traditions of north and south India are to be found in the city, a product of it geographic location and the historic legacy of the rise and fall of past dynasties. In more recent times Hyderabad has become the pharmaceutical and biotechnology hub of India.
Also known as the “City of Pearls”, due to the pearl trading industry, it is home to many museums and galleries and wonderful historic buildings and since March 2012 it has become the "Best Heritage City of India".
More information will be available in due course and a dedicated congress website is currently being developed. Both RCOG and AICC look forward to welcoming you in 2014. We do hope you can put the date 28 – 30 March in your diary now.
