The South Wales Cancer Network covers 75% of the land mass of Wales with a population ~2.3M, its boundaries are defined and represent the following Local Health Boards and NHS Trust:
Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board
Aneurin Bevan Health Board
Cardiff and Vale University Health Board
Cwm Taf Health Board
Hywel Dda Health Board
Powys Health Board
Velindre NHS Trust
The South Wales Cancer Network works in partnership with Health Boards, Trusts, Community Health Councils, Voluntary Organisations and Public Health Wales to co-ordinate the planning, organisation and delivery of cancer services across its defined geographical area.  

This site is currently under development following the mergers of the South West and South East Cancer Networks.  The archived information from the old individual sites is still available for information only from the links below, and will no longer be updated.
All new information will be placed on this site as part of the South Wales Cancer Network.

Following the merger of the South West and South East Cancer Networks the directory is in the process of being updated.  If you have any amendments or additions to the Directory, please contact Stephen Evans.

The Telemedicine Service pages have been updated and will keep you informed on the progress made in this exciting field.  These pages include the ChemoCare Service, which offers a fully networked electronic chemotherapy prescribing solution for the across the West of the region.

The South Wales Cancer Network is leading the work on the Macmillan Cancer Support all-Wales Patient Information Project.  The broad aims of the project are to improve access to and quality of information for patients.
