From 04 July 2011, the All Wales Primary Care RMG office will be incorporated into the
National Institute for Social Care and Health Research (NISCHR) Permissions Co-ordinating Unit (PCU).
The NISCHR Permissions Co-ordinating Unit (PCU) will be launching the NISCHR Permissions Co-ordinating Process (PCP) on 04 July 2011. The NISCHR PCP will be introduced for all research being undertaken in NHS Wales. The NISCHR PCP will co-ordinate the process of gaining research permissions from NHS organisations in Wales.
The NISCHR PCU will co-ordinate the process working alongside NHS organisations in Wales, who as legal entities, are responsible for the research undertaken in their organisations.
