The Welsh Renal Clinical Network's (WRCN) role is to collaboratively plan and monitor adult renal services in Wales on behalf of the Welsh population and NHS Wales.

It is a sub-committee of the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee (WHSSC) known as ‘the Joint Committee’, the body oversees the planning and monitoring of specialised health services in Wales.

 
Included within the Welsh Renal Clinical Networks Terms of Reference are the following discrete areas of responsibility:
