Welcome to the North Wales Critical Care Network

The North Wales Critical Care Network was established in 2007. It brings together all organisations involved in the planning, commissioning and delivery of Critical Care across North Wales to promote the highest quality critical care services for the region.

 
The Network takes a whole system approach to ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services across the North Wales health community. In order to provide valuable expertise, advice and facilitation for planners, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, the Network is affiliated to the Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Management Clinical Programme Group.  The Network Work Programme is therefore aligned to the Second Strategic Framework for Adult Critical Care in Wales, published by the Minister in August 2008. 
 
  
The North Wales Critical Care Network also works closely with the Critical Care Networks in South & East Wales and Mid & West Wales and with other regional Networks (including Cancer, Cardiac and Renal) in order to identify and address issues which interface across clinical services regionally or nationally.
