UPLANDS & MUMBLES SURGERY

 

Uplands and Mumbles Surgeries is a group partnership of five doctors committed to providing a high quality of care to our patients.

 

We have two premises at 46-48 Sketty Road, Uplands and at 49 Queens Road, Mumbles.

Both properties provide disabled access.

 

You may choose the surgery most convenient for you and your medical records will be kept at that surgery. We do not encourage consultation at the other surgery because, in the absence of your medical records, it is difficult to give proper care.

 

We are a training practice for doctors who wish to become General Practitioners. This means that a fully qualified doctor with at least three years experience in hospital medicine is attached to the practice for one year to gain experience, take examinations and qualify as a General Practitioner. You may be offered appointments with these GP registrars and we would expect them to provide a high level of care and to be offered the courtesy you would extend to the other members of the team. We also have medical students attached to the practice from time to time.

 

The practice is a party to the West Glamorgan Practice Charter, a copy of which is available at reception.
