NISCHR CRC is part of the research infrastructure for Wales funded by NISCHR, Welsh Government

 

Our vision is to support today’s research to develop 
and deliver tomorrow’s best care. 
Our mission is to increase the quality and quantity of people-centred research in Wales.

 

NISCHR CRC is working to:

  • improve relevance by supporting a portfolio of people-centred research studies which benefit health and social care service delivery;
     
     
  • involve people by providing opportunities for patients, service users, carers and the public to participate in research development;
     
     
  • increase capacity by providing a competent and accessible research workforce to increase the quantity of research studies recruiting in Wales;
     
     
  • underpin quality by providing a high quality, Wales-wide training programme to support excellence in studies registered on the NISCHR Clinical Research Portfolio;
