Our vision is to support today’s research to develop and deliver tomorrow’s best care. 

Our mission is to increase the quality and quantity of people-centred research in Wales.

 

NISCHR CRC is working to:

  • improve relevance by supporting a portfolio of people-centred research studies which benefit health and social care service delivery; 
     
  • involve people by providing opportunities for patients, service users, carers and the public to input into research development; 
     
  • increase capacity by providing a competent and accessible research workforce to increase the quantity of research studies recruiting in Wales; 
     
  • underpin quality by providing a high quality, Wales-wide training programme to support excellence in studies registered on the NISCHR Clinical Research Portfolio; 
     
  • engage partners by communicating and collaborating with NISCHR CRC stakeholders.
     

NISCHR CRC is part of the research infrastructure for Wales funded by NISCHR, Welsh Government.
