Tanyfron Surgery began over a century ago when the surgery was held in Tanyfron, South Road - by D. "Dai", Dr. Ernest Davies and Dr. Nansi Davies. After the war Dr. Hugh Herbert joined the practice followed by Dr. Geraint Hughes. We moved to our present surgery in 7 - 9 Market Street in 1986, when major renovations were undertaken to convert the old draper's shop for our purposes. We have recently extended the premises further. This extension has given us the opportunity to deliver better patient care.

Dr. Helen Herbert joined the practice in 1984, Dr. Gerwyn Thomas in 1988 and Dr. David Evans in 1990.
