PEMBROKESHIRE COMMUNITY HEALTH COUNCIL (CHC)

Pembrokeshire Community Health Council (CHC) is an independent statutory body within the NHS.  We monitor all aspects of health care in the county and make recommendations for change and improvement where deemed necessary.  We also provide a free independent complaints advocacy service to patients who have issues with NHS services.

A consultation upon the future of CHCs in Wales has recently been concluded and we have suggested in our response that we, together with our two neighbouring CHCs (Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire) could work more collaboratively together.  We would like to thank all individuals and organisations within the county who responded to this consultation and supported retention of the Pembrokeshire CHC.

Please note: We do not give clinical health-care advice or treatment.  If you have a health problem requiring immediate advice or treatment please phone your GP, NHS Direct on 0845 46 47, or if truly urgent and serious, the Ambulance service on 999.
