WELCOME TO THE  CARMARTHENSHIRE COMMUNITY HEALTH COUNCIL 

The Community Health Council  works to enhance and improve the quality of your local health service. We are your statutory and independent  voice in health services provided throughout Carmarthenshire

What do we do?

• We monitor all the NHS services within the Carmarthenshire Region.
• We look at West Wales General Hospital, Prince Philip Hospital , Hafan Derwen, all the GP practices, and all the Community Clinics and Services that are offered within Carmarthenshire
• We attend all the Board meetings of the Hywel Dda Health  Board .

• We listen to patient's views, ask them for what worries them, help patients with their complaints, and this keeps us up to date with how the service is being delivered, and whether it is what we, the public want.
