Healthy Working Wales has been developed to support employers, employees and health professionals to improve health at work, prevent ill health and to support return to work following ill health.
Local Initiatives
Health Challenge Cardiff is a local campaign building on the national Health Challenge Wales concept. Its aim is to help and encourage people to make positive changes to their lifestyle.
Young people aged 13-25 years can access free, confidential sexual health advice and FREE condoms from the Cardiff Condom-Card (C-Card) Scheme. This scheme operates across Cardiff, mainly from youth centres and voluntary organisations. To find out more information about where the c-card scheme operates, email the Cardiff Local Public Health Team or call 029 20556029.
One of the projects of the Caerphilly Local Public Health Team is "Fun,Food and Fitness" (F3) aimed at promoting a joined-up approach to increase awareness of healthy eating and physical activity, and achieve positive changes in attitude and behaviour for overweight and obese children aged 8-11 years old and their “families.”
