Two speakers from Informing Healthcare will take the stage at the E-Health Insider Live 09 conference, in Birmingham next week (9 and 10 November).

David Davies, Director of NHS Engagement, will speak about how NHS Wales has adopted its own distinctive approach to the delivery of a national healthcare information and technology programme, based on interoperability.

 

He will explain how the Welsh approach has been influenced by devolution and what impact this has had on the design and delivery of healthcare.

John Hallam, Head of Assurance, will focus on ‘Who’s doing the benefits?’ He will describe the work that’s taking place in NHS Wales to develop a common set of benefits criteria, which can be used to judge competing investments, drawing on examples from the Informing Healthcare work programme.
